I have worked almost 5 years there without increment and no promotion. If you put down your papers you will get hike otherwise nothing is going to happen

Typical managers with false promises. (Tejas Bhakai) I have seen first company where if you get promoted your salary will remain same 😂 HR is pathetic they don’t know when did you putted down the papers. Even when you drop and email and system everywhere. No work life balance - you have to work 24*7 (Whatever client is saying these guys are doing attending calls at midnight 12am because client asked this for complete team) frequently

Felt this organisation not well organised from management point of view. Heavily dependent on US projects so work timing was often in US hours. Syntel is in transition to completely merge with Atos, so basic internal websites like ITAP(for attendance) does not work sometimes.

1) Health insurance. 2) 33 Paid leaves in a year. 3) Some projects have onsite opportunity but not now due to pandemic.

Dislikes

... to senior employees, officially they have laptops for GCM 7 and above grades. 2) No variable pay when you leave the organisation. 3) They will leave you alone to suffer if you are on onsite and will not provide support. 4) Management is self centric and always looks to gain profits. 5) Atos Syntel CEO does his own branding advertisement with fake leadership awards. 6) Sandwich leave policy. Cannot take leave from Friday to Monday who does that in IT MNC? Answer is only Atos Syntel. 7) Furlough policy if you are on bench for a longer time company will not provide salary and no EPF, you will be an employee without salary and will hold only health insurance benefit. 8) 3 months notice period. They don't negotiate even in the exigency cases. 9) Weak leadership All four key people don't have vision for future. 10) Pune office location is very far from city and there is no civilised area upto 8 kms of range. 11) No official work from home policy, they are giving wfh due to covid pandemic no guaranty of wfh after that. 12) Merger with Atos. Syntel destroyed a good company Atos Global IT solutions after merger. 13) Deduction in salary FNF if you take sick leave in 3 months notice period. 14) Senior management is not supportive. 15) Salary increments are very low, one could not even beat the inflation.

The journey would be as good as your project. So, if you get a good client and project, its good. There are a lot of onsite opportunities, but I guess they would resume only after this pandemic ends. This is the only good thing.

...r years and would not leave their position, thereby not allowing anyone to grow. Compensation is below industry average and would only increase well if you resign and then ask for it. People are not rewarded fairly and more often than not, favourism wins.

Unfortunately I joined in syntel 5 years before,no hikes and no variable pay, coming to COID 19 Situation,My project got stopped in May-2020,after that they are introduced new scheme,Furlough period,means that they are reduced package like freshers 3,5 lpa,again they are reduced salary,Syntel was fine only before ATOS Merge with syntel,now syntel was in a bad position,now atos employes are good and syntel emp are bad

no hikes and no variable pay,not supporting in coivid 19 situation,my leaves are reduced and my package reduced like freshers
