...r. He doesn’t know how to run a company and thinks employees are his sla**es. They wont credit salary on time. Everyone regret after joining this company. Esmito is publicising that they are IIT madras based startup but their product quality is very bad. Especially the battery packs they make possess high safety risks to the user. Feels like their plan is to burn the funding money instead of using it to make good quality products Esmito has a policy of not crediting salary during notice period and notice period duration is 3 months ( we have to serve notice period without salary and after that they will give a cheque for 3 month salary) Since they don’t even credit salary on time so it is unlikely that they will give us this money. Because of this many people abscond the company.

.... Their product didn't work and we had to run around the city to resolve issues. In the end of the day it's not always about salary but also appreciation for the work which is just not there. Great Vision, Zero Execution, Burn Investment and Use employees as donkeys. I mean there are many things and if you look at the reviews here the most negative ones are most true. Lot of conflict among 3 co-founders and between them employees are made to suffer. We have to report to one founder, but takes instructions from 2nd founder who is not in your office and the work is tracked by 3rd founder. If there will be rating for India's worst workplaces Esmito will be among the top! They delayed salaries and also not honor salary and had to quit.

This is a startup company, salary is never on time, Director behaves like Hittler like he only knows everything. No job security, Director will tell you anytime to resign. No appraisals, you will get only 3-4%.

1. This was my worst^1000 decision to join here. 2. The work culture is terrific in this company, It feels like a jail , Hasan Ali, seems to be gentleman, but he is such big as**hole person that I ever met. 3. The co-founder have multiple conflicts between them and also, they fool each other, wasting investors money is their only vision. 4. The management is too poor that they can't decide what to do next. 5. Akshya -back end engineer or I say the robot of this company, is such a b**tch, who has pride of knowing everything. _______|_________ - my answer to her. 6. Even I Ignored ambition box reviews at first, but after experience, I can't stop myself - dropping a review on it.

Dislikes a h*ll lot I have never written a review before but for this I will - the amount of stress I have been through 1. New guidelines comes in today and they expect us to follow it since last month and even after explaining them this is not done. Guidelines came in today it has to be effective from today still they don't care and keep on repeating the same thing. 2. Even if you put in your 200 percent efforts in doing a task, identifying the problem and solving it. Still Hasan Ali will treat you like sh**.He doesn't want to understand what is the problem and only thing he likes to do is yell unnecessarily and it's pointless and worthless. 3. You are asked to travel on different locations for site visits and the initial expense has be paid by you because ( Since you were supposed to travel to office anyways instead of that you are travelling on sites) - no difference right -- like literally how does it even make sense. 4 .I was asked to go and assist on site at 11 pm because of machine failure. I agreed to help and came back at 5 am in the morning on Sunday . I was asked to help assist on the field since field engineers were on leave , was travelling on bike in those heavy rains so that operation would work smoothly. I have worked on sites where there were rats roaming around without even complaining about it. My job was of embedded programming WFO still I was asked to visit sites and I never said NO to it.Inspite of all this effort still they have treated me like sh**. 5. I was travelling on these sites and the travel expenses was beared by me as I was under the assumption that it will be reimbursed but then they put in new guidelines and say we won't be doing reimbursement, you have to follow the new guidelines. This is with reference to Point no. 3 Also a last point I would like to add : I have heard Hasan Ali once saying that I tortured that guy this much that he switched off his phone. So he is well aware that he is torturing still he keeps on doing it which is shi**y and bull***t. Conclusion : Even if you dont have a job please do a favor on yourself and don't waste your time and your dignity on this one. We made a mistake but you shouldn't. I hope this company prosper. I hope the management changes. Thanks a lot for giving me this opportunity. But I am stressed out and frustrated and irritated. X Employee
