No Salary Discussion in My Appraisal — What’s Your Experience?
In my appraisal meeting, they didn’t ask or discuss my expectations about my salary or hike percentage. The entire discussion was only about feedback and performance review. After the meeting, I asked why they didn’t allow me to share my expectations or reveal my hike numbers. They told me that the hike numbers would be decided only by the owner and then they would inform me. I feel an appraisal meeting should include open discussion about both performance and future expectations. What are your thoughts? Does this happen in your company too?

Everything is worst.

Dislikes

The Company has a toxic culture, with a lot of favoritism influencing promotions and career growth. There is little to no value placed on feedback or suggestions. Even CA firms are much better than this. There's a lot of gossip and inappropriate comments being made on the floor. Employees are being pressured to post positive reviews about the company on external sites.

Company has good working environment with supporting seniors. People working here are knowledgeable and experienced in their field. A good place for a fresher to start his/her career in international accounting. Working hours flexibility is also great.
