I experienced that I could work independently without much interference from teammates except some matters. But the bone of contention here is that though I had the liberty to executive my role solely, I had to wait for long for any disposition / decision from my superiors pertaining to critical matters like offers / proposals / price quotation arising from my discussions with prospective customers. Since I was new with the organization, my negotiations were limited to only technical aspects of the product. With respect to commercial terms, I had to approach my superiors for seeking their consent especially on price and payment terms. The prolonged delay used to put me in deep trouble with customers as they expect instant decisions. Moreover the lurking threats from competitors / rivals approaching the customer with better prices and terms was a cause of concern as well. Anyways my perception is positive since organizations in present business environment has their own way of functioning and I consider this as a learning experience. As my tenure was short with the organization, I am unable to comment on other parameters like training, job security, career growth etc.

Dislikes

Teammates are self-centered very often. Precisely, the personnel used to place their pride first before their commitment or duty. I used to envisage arguments which were sure to arise when I used to approach few people with any problem. Then I was compelled to step back which was the root cause for delays in some projects I was entrusted to look after. To approach the decision maker for redressing my grievances even couldn't bear much result as he was embroiled in company's long pending matters.
