As it's a startup, there are no hard rules. People come and go anytime - being late or leaving early is not a taboo, though not attending standups is wrong. Also, as it's a startup and working on new technologies like AI, just by sitting there , you tend to know a lot things which you might have not known earlier. Also, you are not bound to certain departments, such as frontend, backend or devops. You slowly learn all these things and can work on things you like by showcasing your skills in them. Fun fact, as its a startup , you are not only building product but also handling customer queries, and feedback or getting direct customer appreciation related to your work. This in turn makes you see the impact of your work. Also, you are with marketing and sales people and can learn or understand their roles and the skills required for overall company formation ( which will be helpful in future for future entrepreneurs ). Also sharing suggestions and having different opinion is appreciated - following the , "Disagree and commit" mindset

It has a great learning environment if you are passionate about it but feedback is often given publicly rather than one-on-one, which can be demotivating for some employees
