Doordarshan is a reputed place to work with. I especially like the environment and staff behavior as I am a contractual staff & the others are permanent employees in doordarshan but still they are so polite & humble towards us. I'm learning a lot of work here.

Most irritating part is as we are a contractual staff there so we cannot have any kind of Salary hikes benefits out there & not getting Salary on time.

Average salary of engineering assistant here is 65,000 per month. All the engineering staff in Doordarshan is on permanent basis while the programming staff is on contract basis so the programming staff is unsatisfied but this company is very good for engineers as we get all the benefits of government job.

I had a chance to work for so many sections and got so many experience as technical as well as clerical and studio program recording and keeping a track of all the required property also procurement for program use material. Overall it was awesome experience to work with Doordarshan kendra.

During COVID-19, which is regarded as pandemic causes all over in the world, DD news has made a great role to outreach various types of caution, alerts to take steps earlier. By that earlier Providence, we would like to make a big thanks to the particular news channel, who made lot of lots of sympathies on the eve of the disease spreading. Serious steps are important to maintain such like- Washing hands, using alcohol type of hand sanitizer, wearing masks, and visiting to the doctor, if happen anything seriously.
