While i appreciate the positive aspects of my role at the company,one area that could be improved is the lack of clear career progression pathway

Great leadership team in India especially from Bangalore office. Excellent directors even current and new directors those are listening their employees and trying to make more employee friendly company. First time I'm seeing zero politics from the Management level. If you hard work then you will paid off and Leaders will support you in yours critical time if you support them in their critical deliverable time. Overall it could be a great compnay to work with and grow along with.

Dislikes

Infra and pantry could be improve, and working space should be improved. And rest room is the biggest challenge here, U need to use the common one which could be shared by 3 different companies in the floor. And not well maintained. Otherwise I dont see anything negative about this company.

The Global exposure is great, managers and team out side of India is really great to work with and learn! Love the guidance and support! They are very polite, encouraging and empathetic always! Which we should learn a key aspects for a manager leading a team.

Dislikes

The culture in india is upside down when compared with other global team’s cultures and that is because of one or two individual (Manager) here in india, Discovery got to fix this any sooner than late.

All the employee and working environment is very good and perks also available only team lead is not good doing partionality between old Engineer with new one .This is bad experience from my side overall everything is good you will learn new technologies and there are good people .

Team of mumbai is not good giving priority to old Engineer who is available there from past few years whatever they will tell to do they will doing like that

I’m personally passionate about my work and the brand Discovery. Strongly believe people holding on to senior position are worthless to their role. Spoiling discovery’s brand image in India. Other than finding ways and means to create healthy business model and revenue to the company they have indulged in laying-off people forcibly making them to Opt Voluntary Separation Program and finally dissolve their roles to settle their grudges for reasons best known to them alone. Covid is a reason stated as an escapism to their action. I’m one among their victim who lost my job this Nov20. Not because I’ve been victim and spilling my beans here, but my claims deliberate facts and are genuine. If seriously wanting to chase Discovery’s India business and healthy work atmosphere, it’s better to have a third party survey done with a relevant Questioner prepared for survey.

Dislikes

The worst work culture, doing away with huge set of people every alternate year.
