DGAQA stands for Directorate General of Aeronautical Quality Assurance under Government of India, Ministry of Defence. It is a one of the regulatory body in India for defence defence Aircraft. It's recruitment comes under UPSC. Being central government you will have proud feeling.

Dislikes

1. For a group 'B' gazette officer promotion are very late. For example for one promotion I may wait for 10 to 12 years. For whole life there can be only 2 or 3 promotions. 2. Rotational Transfer Policy (RTP) which means transfer of officer any place in india. Transfer happens every 5 or 3 years. 3. For all the basic needs like chairs, table etc and infrastructure we have to depend on HAL or DRDO. This is so unfair.

Likes

The company is undertaken the Government of India Ministry of Defense under the Production Department of Ministry. It works is that he Assured the quality of Aeronautical, Air force and Navy. I love the fact that i am part of a team that high quality assurance.

Quality is better but growth is slow

The job involved team work and I enjoy working with the team. The position that I was in carried a lot of responsibility and completing the task in time was of utmost importance. If the above two aspect was not taken care of the Dept. Would incur ministry loses. Therefore finishing the job in time and efficiently was appreciated.

Career growth was very limited.
