The client portfolio is strong, and the partners throughout the firm are approachable.

Dislikes

... arrangements also depends on the partner and is not consistent across the firm. It's a good place to start a career, but not suitable for someone with extensive experience, as compensation and respect don't align with the level of experience.

...rtners require you to visit office everyday, they do not support work from home. The compensation bands are not same for similarly placed people. Compensation mechanism is not transparent.

The quality of work assignments is a big pro and there is a great learning opportunity.

People are not compensated enough. There's no job security. The partners can reduce your pay at any time which will force a person to leave the Firm. There is a lack of growth prospect and no clarity regarding the career path. The Firm's partners and principals are resigning day by day and the Firm is not giving opportunity to existing senior Associates and principals to show their performance at next level. There is no work life balance. You are expected to work 24x7. At manager level, there's a lot of execution work rather than review work. There's a lack of transparency in the Firm. The policies are made by CEO (just like a dictator) and imposed on employees. No one can question about the Firm's shortcomings and that's the main reason the firm is not growing enough. There's a lot of favoritism. You will not get desired increments, bonuses or promotion unless you are your managing partner's favourite. There is no additional benefit like transport, education assistance, trainings, and other perks which you generally receive if you are working in any MNC or Big 4

Focus on technical trainings and learnings. In boutique tax firms, Dhruva is far better and classier than Transaction Square. TS is only show and no strong fundamental technical skills unlike Dhruva, which focuses and strives towards quality and excellence rather than speed and expansion. If not for so many problems, Dhruva is a great place for freshers/beginners to start their career.

...nly Senior Associate, Principal (equivalent to Senior Manager) and then Partner. Pay is usually a little below market benchmark and you and your salary will only be taken seriously if you're technically good and have competing offer. Lots and lots of attrition, in a span of 1.5 years an entire team of 15 people left and were replaced with freshers, since experienced people are difficult to find. Dhruva has no or minimal brand recall value. To top that, there's absolutely pathetic work culture which involves Partners shielding the most unprofessional behaviour and attitude of Principals and turning a blind eye to the various complaints raised by team members. Eventually, every one left from the team. Also, the multiple Principal reporting is stressful and no Principal has patience and accuse the Senior Associate of not performing their work, if the SA is working on/with a different Principal. Bad Management riddled with partiality has been leading to attrition from the firm since 2018. Also, HR is a joke here, they're powerless puppets operating to fulfill/secure desires of Partners and Principles
