Good work life balance. Decent increments and bonus. Company provides many annual leaves for the year. If your manager approves the leaves we can take good vacation twice a year.

Dislikes

Management structure keeps changing every year. New processes or approach to be followed each time management changes are made. Tools and technologies used here are either too old or don't have adequate support. Some managers are very supportive but some can be difficult.

Salary on time. Helpful senior engineers.

Dislikes

I experienced politics first time in my career from managers and project managers. They dont have any idea about technology or what product does. Don't have clear idea about project, they are just there for creating jira task. They are ready to blame you if there is slight delay in development due to misunderstanding of feature. After going live, they dont give credits for your work and are ready to steal. They will not even mention you that you develop this product when mailing to top officials and get all praises awards themselves. No hikes, hard to get promotion.

Extreme political play in digital solutions. Favourite can get 30% hike but even if you are a hard worker and you are the puppet for their game and paid very less

Dislikes

Worst work culture especially in a pro-mad team. You will be mad for his madness. You have to get ready to work for 18hrs /day for 7 days a week. Just forget about the festival. Even at your marriage

DHL is very good as a organisation but Chennai unit is ruled by some specific set of people in management and HR team who have created a ecosystem by bringing their friends and family members in the organisation and have made it like family run business. If you fit into their ecosystem you have a life else your life and career is ruined and if you try to escalate then since manager and hr are from same ecosystem that will lead to job insecurity and making life miserable.

Chennai unit ruled by specific set of people destroying DHL brand image and not a good place to work with reasons listed above
