It has been a good journey working at Default, some of the best perks of working here is that it is completely remote. We have three co-founders who are excellent and quite understanding to their employees and are even supportive. Default promotes work-life balance and an excellent remote working culture, even with few employees taking initiatives to educates their collogues in learning new skills/courses. They keep their employee up to date to new techs/changes in the industry and even facilitates a growing environment to their employees. One of the best decision by the founders is that they believe in paying what the candidate is worthy of, and hence anyone who applies for a job here are not asked about their previous CTC, which is a truly a ground breaking decision in terms of career growth. In addition to all of this, they even provide health insurance to their employees. Overall, from working culture to career growth, Default is a great place to join and work at.

Dislikes

Default is a completely remote based company, hence the communication in different departments are less which could be overcome with frequent meet-ups.

Likes

The culture and founders are awesome. Never worked anywhere, where your management considers or values your notions. Any implementation is done after careful thinking and in best interest of the employees and organisation.
