No work life balance.. never join dbs if you are QA. There is a provision of one QA among 5-6 developer. Everything comes as high priority and have a long QA process which is tiring to follow to get sign off on single user story

Member of IBA, Salary and benefits in accordance to All india settlement. Good culture and protected securty for devoted, loyal, talented workers. Promotion not without bias. Bank policies formulated inconsistent to regulators RBI policies paid attention for due adherence. Well established system procedure. But could not with stand to modern trends in CBS and changes occured very rapidly in last decade. The curiosity to compete with modern banks stroked the ancient bank and ended recently to the merger with DBS bank. Inspite of these all the customers and employees were protected. The name and the good will became good well became boon to the taken over Bank the lost were shareholders.

Could no with stand to the sea changes in the present decade.

Job security, Smart colleagues, iflex benefits, fixed pay and bonus.

Dislikes

Chaotic work environment, un organised work. Requirements to timelines comes from Singapore. Indian devs are just for servicing them. Old tech stack. Mangement have no clue what the developers are doing or struggling. No work recognition.

Newbies from other bank can get all benefits with high salary hike. If you are belongs to cluster head community you will get all benefits without work

Dislikes

No proper knowledge at top management. Lvbians in cluster head level to top management will be washout. Than only the DBS will improve.

Line manager is everything, he decides your rating, increment, bonus. HR is just a yes man to whatever reporting manager says. Lot of good policies on paper but at ground level not much. HR is absolutely not reachable
