Confused about Salary negotiations
CTC - 8 LPA Loc - Bengaluru, India I have been working in the same company for the last 5 years. My salary went from 3.6 LPA to 8 LPA over the years. I recently put papers, and, started giving interviews. I got an offer from TCS for 15 LPA(12.8 fixed). For more than a month, I've been giving interviews, asking for 18 LPA and many HRs are rejecting straight away, citing it is more than 100% hike from my current CTC. I kept trying and now I am selected for 5 companies - Iris Software, Capgemini, Quantzig Analytics, PwC, HCL, Infinite. Salary discussions are about to start and I'm confused. I'm not good at this. Can anyone suggest?

The HR is funny. She organises Dance and Yoga.

Dislikes

Everything, right from the managers. Because, the manager for marketing is inapt for work, and just frames his some team member for his work and any other work for other departments like content or design. Totally unprofessional and untrustworthy. DAY ONE IS ALL ABOUT HIRING AND FIRING. IF you want to spoil your career, then DAY One Tech is the best place to spend some 20-30 days, because that's the avg hold up here. The company is on the verge of losing all its clients, many have withdrawn too.
