Dirty politics in engineering team CTO don't even hesitate to use F@cuk words They can fire u, whenever they want. U will be working on 24/7. Abusive and tyrant leadership, they talk like they own you and you have to be always polite to their rudeness (no job security otherwise) Forget your weekends you will be expected to "finish" overallocated work on weekends Micromanagement in your personal life as well (if you have any energy left) No job security and dictatorship culture (you can get fired any time without any sufficient reason) No learning opportunity as they work on super old stack and expect you to clean their mess and scold you for their own problems No culture - just everything on CTO/CEOs will basis. I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
