I was getting 15.2 LPA in my previous org and now i am being offered 29.5 LPA but the designation is 1 position lower than what i was in my previous org. Should i go ahead with the offer or still negotiate on designation. Protip : i was laid off in my previous org.

Likes

Huge campus with lot of greenery and good infrastructure. Multiple centralized scientific facilities for analytical, chemical and biological studies are available. Hostel and staff quarters facility available. Playgrounds for football, badminton, cricket etc are available.

Dislikes

Work-life balance was terrible. Scientific guidance at times of need is nil or greatly lagging. Scientists treat the research fellows with toxic, bossy attitudes and the mid- and higher-level scientists and management are filled with politics and favoritisms. Career growth and satisfaction are greatly hindered given the poor work culture. Experiments get delayed due to internal politics and the research fellows end up facing trouble for something they can't help with. Apart from all these, the quality of food at canteen is quite poor.
