Work life balance. Friendly collegues and mentor.

Dislikes

No hikes. No appraisal. No bonus. No joining kit for new joineers. Need to smartly deal during salary negotiation or else they u fool u smartly. No wifi reimbursement during pandemic. No gifts during Holi, Diwali, Christmas, office annual year.

On time salary Tax deductions will be less compared to other MNC's

Dislikes

Appraisal will not happen at all Hectic work load and you end up doing same things repeatedly Managers/TL will not know how to handle the situations rather end up making mess.

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
