I really liked that CCI gives an orientation of its different divisions to interns every month through which we get apprised of the workings of the commission. Another good practice of the Commission is that interns get to understand, how cases are referred to the Commission and the formalities companies need to go through with respect to M&A activity, which is exciting to see. Lastly, I also liked that we got to develop research on the latest trend in Competition laws as a part of our internship mentored by different heads/directors of the divisions, which is presented on the final day of our internship in front of the Chairperson. Surprisingly, a generous stipend of Rs. 15,000/- is also given to interns.

Dislikes

It is hard to dislike anything about CCI, but if you are someone who likes high-pressure environments and constantly craves an adrenaline rush then CCI might not be the place for you because it is a government institution with set working hours and flexibility of deadlines. So one might also sometimes find themselves dosing off during work hours.

CCI is an excellent organization to work with, a professional body but presently not headed professionally.
