The day I found out my colleague earns 30% more for the same role

It was an accidental slip. A teammate mentioned her CTC while we were chatting casually. Same designation, same team, joined after me but her salary was almost 30% more. My stomach dropped. I spent days debating whether to bring it up. I didn’t want to come off as insecure or difficult. But I also couldn’t un-know what I knew. Eventually, I had an honest, data-backed conversation with my manager. Turns out, I was right and they revised my pay. It wasn’t easy, but it taught me this: silence doesn’t protect you. Exploiting employees is their character, fooling employees with future salary increment promises and promotions is their way of hiring deserving employees. If someone is lucky enough to know about the real character of the company before joining, then only one can be saved. I wish People believe on the feedback which ambition box/Glassdoor kind of companies are showing about them. Moreover, if someone wants to know please contact the top IIMs/ ISBs you will get to know and also connect with ex-Cogo from 2022,2023,2024

Pathetic work culture no growth no salary hike but constant salary deductions. Firing people is nothing for them it will happen every month, salary will release in mid of the month.
