There is nothing to like about Clasis Law. There are only dislikes.

Dislikes

A professional would be immensely unlucky to have worked in this organization. This place is more like a venus fly trap - it will attract a professional, trap it and destroy their career. The firm has a weird hierarchy and control mechanism. The Managing Partner, though a seemingly a good person does not wield any actual control over his Partners. Thus, often at time he remains unaware of what work an Associate is doing. Even if an Associate gets mistreated, the Chief does not have any clue whatsoever. Workflow is frustratingly low. You won't learn any new skill at all. Rather as they make one sit for most of the day, after a point of time one will loose the ability to work also. And if a person is lucky enough to get a work, will get low quality clerical work like updating excel sheets. And if you keep asking for work, you will get more amount of non-billable work over billable work. This may not affect you immediately, but in the long run you will feel the heat two ways - firstly, you won't get any raise and second, you will not be able to move to any other organization easily. Some people take juniors for granted. At times people are delegated work after 10 PM, when the same work could have been easily allotted at 10 AM. There is a complete disconnection between what the firm sells during recruitment and what you actually get as work. Some seniors are extremely manipulative, holds PhD degree in gas lighting and making feel one under-confident. Micro-management runs amock as some seniors even refuse to approve even an one liner email sent to random third parties. The firm does not have any proper system of mentorship. It's so difficult to get guidance from few seniors. Some seniors often at time extract information through false sympathy and then use it against the person who is disclosing something. Fakeness rules supreme here. Some seniors discourage taking note of the instructions, which at times lead to confusion and some seniors resort to blame game in absence of written instructions. Some seniors even discourages juniors to write emails, even when it is required. This is done to ensure that a junior is not being able to defend oneself at the time of passing the blame game. Showcases differential behavior to some people, makes one feel like an outsider at all point of time. My advice to others planning to join them - Please don't join their Corporate Team. You will end up cussing your choice later and you would not have any remedy too.
