Bank follower traditional banking , it is old generation bank, salary is as per IBA policy , but gives under CTC

Miserable, Tranfer policy is strict and not employee friendly , huge targets with less coordination from corporate office

1.More pressure on Cross selling 2.Branch people need to do both operations and sales

Working was overall good there. It gives you job security. Pay is also good. I have personally found people working there because of these two factors. However, for me culture, skill development matters the most.

Dislikes

We know that it is we who create culture. I was in branch, and the people were there not so cooperative. They bullied me in the starting (all associates, DM), they mocked and even used harsh, abusive language. Ideally, a bank and company shouldn't give you that leverage to behave this way. I was a bit senior, there were approx 8 associates under me and the BM, DM all wanted me to be harsh to the associates. They wanted me to overpower those people. I am of the view that if anything which can be done nicely, why do I need to show that i am senior. As mentioned, I thrive to work upon learnings and those kinda people didn't ever let me. The bank is a lean organization and thus, won't see you going forward. People play dirty politics here.

...lockdown,our bank has provided opportunity to work in branches near to our home.Also provided us with full salary during complete lockdown wen we were unable to work

Though HRMD,has provided us with suitable working opportunity,home branch pressure to return during peak covid season mounted

For freshers this is good bank only for learning. Don't expect respect and salary just learn and switch.

Dislikes

...aves credited during probation and probation could be 2 years instead of 1 year. Salary is low but expections high. Employee can do work with passion if salary is good.
