Globally Best work culture (In India it's toxic) Best perks & benifits Best leave policy .

...ecurity. They will remove them after a few days or they will push you to resign. Layoff affected a lot of employees in India and no one talked anything about this Part of the cost-cutting they targeted directors to the above level but when it comes to India all the MDs and directors protected each other and removed C05 to C11 employees from Citi.

Very professional about leave policy and work life balance.

Dislikes

There haven’t been appraisals even equivalent to the inflation rate. No tangible benefits apart from pay. Cost cutting continue and impact a lot of things.

Worst place to work in Chennai. Politics and toxicity to the core. The VP himself will directly come and insult you. Citi might have a good name outside but it has changed a lot. Never work here and never suggest anyone to work here. They may give attractive packages but the work stress is too much, not abt the process but these PPL have trust issues and micro manage. If you work there will be another person higher to your level to pick out all the errors you make and this will be directly reflected to the vp level and that lunatic will label you as having attitude issues. I don't think they want anyone to work under them.

Get to work that creates an impact. In case of work, there will be lot of helping hands for you to get going.

Dislikes

Politics is rampant when it comes to promotion. They get you in with high salary later they almost give no hikes. Only decent hikes when promoted. That too is decided/handpicked on whims of senior management. Your rating have no positive impact but your rating is tool used to communicate negative impact.
