Dislikes

Only thing I personally dislike is their pay policy. Someone cant be promoted unless have completed 18 months in same role. The compensation and annual hike varies a lot depending on the Business Unit. One can get hike of 4% with same good rating where other can get 20% hike in other BU.

Pay is average, other than that from culture to work to tech everything has gone way bad.

from last 2 year there is lots of politics overall citi uses very old tech. If you wanna bring anything new there are lots of obstacles and politics. Promotion halted, layoff happening. We have senior developers who can't open vim or work with basic python. So overall everything from work to culture to tech to the job satisfaction is going downhill very fast. As soon as market opens, attrition rate would be really high and the good employers would be first to leave.

Exp: 6.8 Java backend dev cognizant - 25 lpa (24 fixed) Epam - 28 fixed Citi - 30 fixed If i ask epam with citi offer they will increase their offer, but my question is that worth negotiating with them?
