Nothing as such.

Dislikes

...ty. Also, too much workload, pressure conditions to work, politics and favorism. People only stay in such org as they have Emi to pay. Other similar banks are way better.

Good Number of leaves/holidays, transport and insurance benefits

...e travelling all 30 kms in such case. Even managers cant support you for that. Cant access Salary slips out of org network. There is too-complex process to share salary slips over personal email. Internal Job Postings are available, but HR dont help/careintermediate if you are in dire need. Finally talent is lost !!

- Job security - Compensation & benefits are good. - It's a good place to learn best practices in process and product engineering/delivery. - It is a good place to be if you're a programmer (and luckily) into product development. - Leaves: ample amount of leaves. Leaves are a necessity rather than a luxury. You'll need leaves. More in the cons section. - Brand value is good. You're respected by Citi's competitors and in the technology industry in general.

Dislikes

- Working hours: Long, includes some weekends of night-shift like deployment support. You're expected to be available all the time including weekends. Your time and mental/physical health are taken for granted. You are given enough leaves - you can take 15-20 days off easily and can plan vacations, but you'll have to slog first, essentially burn out is inevitable, so leaves are a necessity rather than luxury. - Technology: Usage of outdated technologies. Most migration projects are just exploring technologies 6-7 yrs old and are already outdated. - Growth: You're expected to deliver, not grow. - Process: A positive that will eventually turn sour and start biting your career development. Too much time wasted on process and very little time spent on things that matter. - Work culture: Most people think for themselves. There is no collective consciousness. Some people keep knowledge to themselves and are unwilling to share information. This is typical of people who see others as competitors and not as team members. I feel this is a side effect of lack of growth opportunities. So, people feel the need to capture promotions by being the only person eligible. - Team spirit: Open ended discussions rarely happen. I've felt this is kept like this on purpose. - Job Satisfaction: What's that? If you're a new joiner, you're seen as a scapegoat. You are loaded with tasks that people don't prefer to work on, or those tasks that people deem inferior to their level, or tasks that have lowest job satisfaction. Lastly, if you're a technology specialist or an Architect, you may not work as a technical specialist, but as someone who has to execute orders or someone who takes care of delivery processes and co-ordination with various stakeholders. Managers are outdated or non-tech people and they won't really understand you or your capabilities. You are only required to deliver regardless of your area of interests or specialization.
