The team that i worked with was awesome. There are 2 teams that one can jump into other than being in Frontline. But even though you grow within sts, there is not much that can be expected for salary hike. It is always in single digit even though you are the top performer

...ere do a lot of profits. So if you are their favorite you get to be as you want. And the salary package that they offer you to the max is 2.5lpa as a fresher and one you are in the company and reach about 4lpa, they won't increase it further

Salary is less compared to market standards No transparency in salary We don’t even get to know what is the grade level of our colleagues unless you are involved with colleagues outside work like chai table or discussion tables

I like the Campus and work culture at Cisco.

Until you resign, managers will not recognize your worth. Pay is less when compared with competitors. Promotions happen rarely. Managers will not allow you to take leaves.

Very Poor Work life balance(Hyderabad Office) Management is bad Appraisal are Ok-ies not great not bad Layoff's are happening quiet frequently now days Promotion are very tough here

Good benefits and salary levels. Flexible working with hybrid culture. Innovation is encouraged.

Dislikes

Extremely manager driven culture. You have a Godmother or Godfather, your career is made. However, if you don't, then it is all based on the rapport you strike with your stakeholders. No clarity of career paths and goals for most roles. Growth is limited. No clear defined processes on performance and appraisals. Most important at this stage, job security is a question mark. Leadership changes with too much ambiguity on future path.
