Just had to share this, I got a 100% hike!
I'm keeping this anonymous because I don’t want to disclose it in real life. After two years without a raise, I successfully negotiated a 100% increase at my current company. I focused on creating significant value and worked in cross-functional teams to learn as much as possible. There were times when I was overworked, but it was all worthwhile. I was confident that it was a mutually beneficial situation. My advice would be to choose your job wisely, create value in the right place, and don't be afraid to negotiate.

If you want to join an organization where you don't care how much your wage is, but you need only peace, 'me-time', no competition, no development, no connection with outside world then it is a perfect place for you. 1. No nearby market facility 2. No in-campus medical facility 3. Poor Electricity service (Specially in Summer time) 4. Poor Mobile network connectivity (You will never get more than half of the total signal strength) 5. Market, Restaurant, Medicine, Barber shop and all other things, if you need them you have to go 12Kms. 6. Local transport is very poor, you have to have one personal vehicle (like Motorcycle or scooty etc.) 7. In campus food availability is very very poor. You have to cook your own. 8.
