Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Just the office look is jice

Dislikes

Salaries not on time. No job security any time you can be thrown out . Too much politics. The senior authorities are the family members no one is out of there family so cant rely for growth also . Once the senior person said they didnt even knew the concept of HR at first while the company has been in the market since 5-7 years . No planning and worst management. They promise alot but they dont make it .
