Salary is good. Work life balance is also nice but depends on team you belong to.

Little exposure to grow since allmost all work is mechanical. Some of the higher managements have attitude which don't allow juniors to grow. Actual work and work mentioned in JD was totally different.

Very few people in my team. So i could work without much commotion. Saturday and Sunday are off.

Dislikes

Salary standards are not upto the industry standards. Nothing much to learn, same repetitive work day in and out. HR is very unprofessional and likes to hold personal grudges against certain employees.

...a miserable condition as it's 80-85% of the clients belong to the retail sector. We had a 35% pay cuts and delayed appraisals. During cartesian's heyday, it never shared the financial boom with its employees but during this time of crisis cartesian wants to share its financial burden with its employees (How ridiculous it sounds?) Nevertheless, the retention payouts (not bonuses!) were also delayed. So yes, cartesian made our crisis period worse.

Cartesian has one of the worst work-life balance culture. You'd be working for 11-12 hours a day on an average and if situations get worse this can go up to 14-15 hours a day with a bare minimum salary in hand. You won't learn any new technical skills here and they won't compensate you for doing amazing online courses (Thanks to their Vedas).

Good startup like culture. Consulting business had good learning experience

Dislikes

Very subjective opinionated leaders. The higher management heavily lacks vision of future. They don’t have sense of costing clients and hence employees suffer when company goes bankrupt (happened twice in my tenure). The management doesn’t have guts to inform laid off employees to admit the company Is in trouble- they instead suddenly inform employees about the poor performance as a reason for layoff. I could see 3 such cases in my tenure
