Bank Job is a good job in society but pure central govt job is some what better than bank job.

Job Insecurity in banking sector increasing day by day due to proposal of bank mergers and Salary Aspects compare to Central Govt very poor compensation(pay scales). Banking became more risky as staff accountability was fixed to the employee even for unintentional frauds. Mistakes happen even when we are so much careful. There is lot of change in work nature in coming days. A number of cross selling products like insurance policies APY Schemes PMJJBY PMSBY Jan Dhan Yojana Demonitization all were forced by us on customers though they are not interested because of targets imposed by govt to banks.

...gement is transparent. There is a huge cafeteria and gaming arcade for chilling. Company policies are good, appraisals are fair and they give good salary hike and bonus every

Dislikes

There is a lot of politics and the management doesn’t address our issues. Salary is decent but career growth is slow. There is a bond of 2 years before which you cannot resign. On the job training is not given to new joinees.

Salary is good now due to bipartite settlements . Now new PLI is also introduced by Finance Ministry for levels above executive cadre

Dislikes

Work culture is too bad. Looks good ONLY from outside. Those who don't care of their ego , self esteem , family life, health can still enjoy working here by listening anything from their Management.

Working in PSB is satisfied in point of job security and also good salary package.

Learning process is slow because only single officer handel all type of branch work like loan assessment MSME loan Retail loan agriculture loan SMA follow up NPA management etc

Timing Management approch towards specialist officer Structural changes Poor profile charges Unofficial calls for working on weekends without any comoff Late sitting culture. Poor HR. Handing over work which is not related to profile. Unnecessary calls from higher office and putting pressure to do things which are not correct as per policy. Urealestic targets. No fixed office time.
