Salary Expectations
I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Dislikes

Managers are highly insensitive. Never appreciate/recognise the work done. No clarity on policies. No 360 degree or bottom to top feedback process. Culture is full of politics. Favouritism is at top..only favourite persons g te promotion and appreciation even if they don't do anything. Always pinpointing from team mates. And the worst thing...south indian people get more preferences and North Indians are treated as aliens. Bul shit environment!
