My experience with BNP Paribas was amazing because it was first job as well in CLM Department. Some positive points are, 1. Compensation & Bonus for which we salaried class works is good & Increment is in double digit until and unless you don't indulge in any argument with your manager or VP. 2. Shift allowance are good but less than peers. 3. No micromanagement in place but it depends process to process. 4. Decent working culture.

Dislikes

... many areas which needs to be corrected but it depends on process to process. 1. Management will always strive towards cost-cutting. 2. No adequate training is provided to new joiners because the seniors members are already overburdened with the work. 3. Attrition rate is very high & management doesn't care about the same. 4. Promotions are bias based on manager preference & the firm is Manager oriented not HR but we speak to onshore the have decent policies & procedures are in place. 5. My experience in term of leaves was pathetic because in my process there were some VP who are too much workaholic so they don't like to give leaves. 6. Never join as a contractor if you are fresher there are some managers who will make your life miserable but if you are lucky enough you might also go permanent within few months. It is like risk & rewards

...t thing in BNP Paribas. Growth seems to be slower even for desired candidates. Descent salary scale.

Pay scale seems to be less even if the employee is highly qualified/dedicated.

For freshers they provide excellent training programs and good package as well. Work culture is also friendly.

Dislikes

Not much happy with the promotion cycle as well as work satisfaction. Not much growth in the sense of levelling up to higher position.

They will put you in PIP when cost cutting will happen. There is no job security here. Also once you leave the company, you cannot join any other Bank or Bank supporting company like SBI or TCS or TechM due to their Non-poaching agreement for 1 year. No individual employee benefits. You can not talk to HR directly. They sit in secret room.

No growth and no good hikes they want to have automation done but they won't pay good if you are in application support so don't try bothering putting your best just be like average and spend your time up skilling yourself .
