Salary Expectations
I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Bluefox Consultants is the worst company. First, they reach out about a job opportunity, but then they reject you for lack of experience. If they had read my profile properly before messaging, they would have known my qualifications right away. They said they don’t want to hire someone without work experience, yet their actions reflect an uneducated or a complete lack of professionalism and understanding. It’s ironic how they fail to meet the very standards they expect from others.
