Salary & perks are good and paid exactly on time; job security; self-contained residential campus life

Dislikes

Too conventional work style; high disparity between non-teaching and teaching; poor faculty standards though labelled as Ph.D. Non-teaching staff only up to a level are invited to social gatherings; setting examples of discrimination. Students are smarter than faulty which lead to vengeful ego from faculty side. Everything faculty-centered.

...endation, but coming to the system by cracking a highly competitive examination. BITS pay well that too on the last day of the month.

Its inability to use human resources at least the minimum and living with mediocrity in administration.

...good comparison to other campus and the faculty behaves good with the employees. BITS provide appropriate salary and allowances to the employees and here anyone get to learn alot along with job.

The campus is very beautiful.

The mess food is worse than jail food. The location is remote and it would remind you of the 1950s. You don't have a place to visit. You don't have a mall you don't have anything to do at all. Working in a location like this is nothing but hell. The lab courses are devoid of issue redressal. The day begins at 8:00 AM and you re required to stay office till 6 or 7. This applies to even Saturdays. The institute is extraordinarily bureaucratic. Your entire life will be over filling forms without doing any technical research. The staffs here are extremely arrogant. They are not helpful at all.
