Salary Expectations
I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Definite Job Security as long as your salary is less. Work is more than the resources needed for it.

Flexible hours and has a good work-life balance.

Dislikes

Very less growth opportunity. Even though you work hard and give good results, the management is not ready to accept that you performed well. They will reject good ideas and then say you don't do anything more.

First thing I liked is Location, Pressure handling and Politics learning.

Dislikes

Work culture, overtime always, No growth in terms of technical knowledge, Environment and politics is in the blood of people there.
