Hi All, During a job opportunity, when the recruiter asked for my expected CTC, I mentioned 12 LPA, as my previous job's fixed salary was 7.8 LPA. Now, I’ve been shortlisted for the Product Designer role and have learned from some sources that their maximum budget is 14 LPA. How should I approach the negotiation? Would it be reasonable to ask for 14 LPA, considering I initially stated my expectation as 12 LPA? The job is based in Gurgaon, and I have 4.5 years of experience. Looking forward to your advice!

Working with Mr. Bhasin is a very good opportunity as he is very knowledgeable. But over all the firm is a bad place to work and grow. The management is a disaster. No professionalism. The top boss (apart from Mr. Bhasin), is petty and involves in useless micromanagement. Its usual for her to demean and distrust associates. Financial reimbursement is very shady and learning is zero. Its a career kill for anyone from a decent college and with decent expectations.

Dislikes

Work culture is terrible. Segmentation of teams with the forum they get to work with. Learning for junior associates is 20 % compared to any decent chamber or law office. The top bosses work on favoritism, mockery and puny comparison within the associates. Financial exposure is terrible.
