Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Only Salary is on time otherwise nothing is good

Dislikes

No growth in this company, they people laid off anytime no job security, on appraisal time they are making excuses business is going down, and your performance is not good like that worst experience in this company, very poor thing is office politics, if you perform well that time also managers give 1 or 0 ratings

Awesome company to work for. Company believes in flat and simple reporting structure as compared to hierarchy. Good Rewards and recognition programs.

Dislikes

Little tuff with work life balance as company majoroly working in night shift to match US timings.
