Their competitive pay is the only good thing about working here

Dislikes

NO work life balance. You are expected to be available to work 20 hours a day and all 7 days of the week, no exceptions. HR will tell you that two Saturdays (and all Sundays) of a month are off. But once you join, your boss will call you to work on all Saturdays and some Sundays. If you dont like it, you can quit. If you make a small mistake or can't complete your work in the unreasonable target deadline, you will be shouted at and verbally abused, loudly, in front of multiple colleagues. And, dont even think about asking for vacation days. By policy you get 36 leaves per year. Practically, you may get 2 or 3. Also, no work from home, at all, for anyone, in any circumstances. Need i say more ?

It's fun to work with great experience in the field of finance. The company is open to innovation and readily adopts latest technology. I love the fact that I am a part of a team that markets reliable, high-quality financial products and has a across country clientele.

Dislikes

Compensation is decent, but work pressure is very high. At times it has happened that managers do not value an individual's unique strengths, which is why I have to take back my suggestions.

Hi, I'm here to share a part of my journey from the past 12 years in my career, I started from a package of 3.6LPA in 2013 at iGate and due to a few bad decisions on my career and worthless advices from people who are always pessimistic about the industry, I switched two companies and landed in a start-up with 2.4LPA. I worked hard nearly 8-16hrs a day single handed researched, built and managed an entire vertical of a project for 8 years. When the company didn't value my contribution and thought I was too young to become a manager, I had a package of 6LPA and Senior developer in designation. I switched for obvious reasons to a TL role for 12LPA and now at the same company I'm a TPM on the basis of my contribution with 48LPA as a fixed component. I feel outclassed in terms of having a fancy CV with certifications, I feel like CTC has hit a peak with 48LPA being fixed and nearly 40% in Variable. Most companies are hesitant to hire me because of this. What should be my next move?
