New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward

I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

Co operation of other staffs are really good. Company provides salary on time in most of the months. Management makes you feel responsible by allowing you establish your own working culture. Company provides a good mess with all the support staffs. Company laid me off during the covid period.

There was nothing in this company to like, I worked like burden bearer and I get my salary just I got some good experience in store and purchase knowledge no body can take away from me till I alive. when 4th unit work completed HR VP call and tell to give resign it was school admission time for children so it was a nice time.

This company nominally a company actually working RKM Powergen pvt. Ltd., four unit complete but no increment or promotion withing 7 year of period only one time 2000/- increment this is a dummy company i do not know why this company is a company. lots of things I dislike.
