Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Nothing, this company is a shameful brain r-ape model company!

Dislikes

This company has a weird model of hiring someone for a fake trial period for 1-2 weeks, make that person do their work and then fire most of the people. It is a classic ‘brain r-ape’ tactic. Shameful. Additionally, all this company does is tell you to meditate for almost everything. The research they follow is mostly led by what they read on Reddit and Quora.
