Good pay, get to work on new technology and designs

Dislikes

Work life balance not that good, culture is not good, india management works like dictators taking decision involving employees but without consulting them. Also US people get permanent wfh while India people have to come mandatorily to office (I cleared with HR that they did not have any government mandate to call employees to office), very low hikes as the firm is loss making for 4-5 years now.

Work life balance is good as, company is result oriented, analyst to principal everyone works towards a common goal.

Dislikes

There is absolutely no job security, the moment company thinks your role in a specific project is over you are fired. They will hire another person for different project but won't even try to put you in another project.

Likes

I have spent only 8 months at AQR and my feeling in terms of a Job is fully secured. I love the culture and the environment of the office. I feel like coming to the office every day even in the current hybrid situation.

Good tech culture. Good benefits. Most comprehensive employee insurance cover I have seen so far.

Dislikes

Going through a lot of instability currently, especially in the tech teams. Projects being discarded, senior people leaving left right and centre.
