No salary security, almost entirely commission-based, no minimum wage, long hours (sometimes 13 hours straight of door-to-door sales), toxic pyramid scheme structure, client care not encouraged - purely profits-focused, no worthwhile connections after internship.

Likes

This job is basically a sales bootcamp. Be prepared to learn the essential and basics of selling because it doesn’t get colder than door to door.

Dislikes

It sucks just being out there in the sun, walking around and knocking on doors. And the hours can feel long and you work 6 days a week for the whole summer. But while you’re stuck away from home you got nothing better to do than hit sales goals so it wasn’t so bad for me
