It depends on the department in which u r working. There is a lot to learn if u r seriously want to explore things and enhance your knowledge. In the council, u can have the perfect life balance. Some of the HODs are very good and always welcome the "No" word from their juniors. The council is good as the first Job. U can actually learn to perform under pressure. U will become a multitasker here. Some of the Senior employees are just really good and treat u like family.

Dislikes

No Raise, No Recognition, Zero job Security, Only Chairman and there 1 or 2 chamchas are the God of the council. If Chairman is sensible person, u will love to work there, otherwise, ur life becomes hell. Management appreciates only their chamchas and their relatives. Not a Women friendly. ICC committee is just a formality and zero women security. U have to work 24*7 here. Maximum time spend to justify your job profile. Un-necessary pressure created. Nobody cares about the quality of work. No training programs here. Work was not allocated by their expertise. Lots of discrimination on the basis of gender, caste, region and etc. Nepotism is the employee base. For survival, YES MACHINE. The person having HR expertise doing Admin work and PS of Chairman doing HR work. Totally Mess-up right now but I think it will change with the change of Chairman. The above comment is based on the situation and the management is only for Jan-19 to Dec-21.
