The institution have good apparatuses and it's accessible to all. Most people are friendly, and everything is in one floor. That's the big benefit. You have freedom to try out your ideas. They have many collaboration projects, which is an advantage. But everything depends on your supervisor. Choose your supervisor carefully. If you can survive there, then you can survive anywhere.

Dislikes

...ethical. Half day app will be cut, if you are more than 5 mins late to punch in. Sometimes even if you punch in your attendance they will cut your pay and you can't do anything about it. Also very less holidays a year.

Likes

I like the popularity and the brand name of Amrita. I also admire the way our infection control and housekeeping work. I feel safe to move around in the hospital and also appreciate the team of well known faculties including all eminent doctors who communicates and cooperate very well with their patients and also Marketing team which henceforth make Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences a regularly upgrading domestic and international brand. I am proud of the rarest tertiary care facilities which we have in Amrita and the interests we take in all the Research work in the Medical Field. Thanks to Amma!!!

Dislike would be the low salary increment we get and a less cooperative non medical team especially the counter staffs.

Likes

I liked to work in that hospital because medical social workers have important roles there. Doctors also gave importance for social workers.The include social workers for their rounds and discussess about each patients diseases and medications and all the conditions of all patients..If the patient have any mental stress regarding the disease we social workers will council the patients to improve their mental health conditions.In Amrita Hospital each departments have 2social workers including ICU 'S. They gave that much importance to social workers.

Wonderful place to work especially in medical research. Provided a perfect combination for basic and medical research with molecular lab and clinical facilities. Work atmosphere was good. Availability of animal research center added value to research studies carried out. Work satisfaction was amazing since the research outputs and benefits could be extended to the patients.

Dislikes

Everything was perfect expect for the monitory benefit. As a policy based on the service based medical center expecting higher salary is beyond expectation.

... environment and facilities. Salary policies are bad and appraisals are average. Salary hike is very poor. They will not consider our sincerity.

Dislikes

For getting experience is excellent. But management policies will depend according to their favourable people.
