They provide salary and appraisal on time. But there are no defined salary structures. Only those close to top management get good salaries. Rest are underpaid.

Worst work culture. No job satisfaction. They do not spend on faculty, students, events or even industrial visits. The placements are also extremely poor. They only earn money but they don’t spend on anything. No skill development initiatives for faculty.

Underpaid as compared to the workload. You have to take 6-7 lectures in a day. To complete the no. of lectures you have to take extra class.Lots of politics.Junior and senior culture.Stressful environment.HR policies are also vague. If you face any problem related to the department and inform HR about the same, no action will be taken. They don't promote research work.To get good appraisal you have to always say YES to your HOI.No job security, you can be fired any day and any time. Those who are thinking of joining AMITY please clarify your doubts before joining.

Each of us works for decent & timely pay, so Amity provides you with timely payments. The university focuses on development p& research papers, so if one is keen on writing it surely adds on.

    Salary is paid on time

    Dislikes

Too much work and not enough staff. Excess of clerical works. Issues created in taking leaves allotted to an individual. HR role is absent and everything is at the discretion of the Head of Institute. Appraisal not happened in 2 years despite fulfilling all necessary criteria's. ZERO work life balance. Will call you for work on weekends and work overtime without any extra pay. Extremely pathetic.

Salary comes on time. But not that they pay for the amount of work they seek from you!

This organisation is for the bosses, it has no relavance for it employees especially the teaching staff which is the backbone of any educational institute. Here, all is a show off, bosses don't listen to you. Moreover, majority people at higher positions do not have a single day experience of teaching or research and they are the ones deciding research targets, allotting subjects, deciding policies for lectures and other aspects for the faculty. While I work at the B-school branch where work culture is pathetic; politics, insecurities, polluted minds, basically it takes away your mental peace. I would never suggest anyone to work at the university either. Whole organisation, system everything is flawed. Big brand with no depth, extremly shallow, lalaji company!! To add, the boss at our campus is one of the most polluted minds, getting pleasure out of insulting people. Uses students as spies against his own faculty. I literally can't state the depths of the ordeal I have been through. HR is totally non-supportive here, as a female employee, if you are insulted on and off you can't do anything about it. There is no policy for workplace harassment, mental harassment and punishing the insulting behaviour of higher ups. To sum up, one of the worst organisations one could come across!!
