Worked for 4 years at Ameriprise. I found Culture is not good here. Favoratism and politics is very extreme here. You will have to be so mindful what you do. Leaders will also be biased when they have taken everything out of you. I could not find even one friend here in 4 years. People are so egoistic her. I personally did not like Ameriprise at all.

It's a good company in terms of policies, work, culture but not in terms of compensation, work life balance and growth and development, it's below average.

Dislikes

Task on daily basis and pressure to perform such tasks. If you take leaves more than a day, you have to compensate for that one extra leave day work in upcoming days as you have to complete the target for the month end. This gives you no relaxing period and always you will be in pressure to complete the task.

Likes

The work culture is great. Cab facility is provided. Being in Tech i have always had work life balance. The amount of paid leaves are great. Good people around.

Dislikes

Now they have given low appraisal hikes and salary structure can be better. Apart from cab and salary no other benefits are there. The firm does not organize cultural events to engage employees. Even on festivals nothing happens so it is boring specially that time.

.... You need to have atleast 150% productivity just to be eligible for a 4 rating. Very bad work culture with poor compensation benefits.

Joining bonus is hefty but they take it back if you leave the organisation within a specified period of tume.
