Only good thing about Amazon is the compensation they offer.

1. There is no work life balance. You have to work in rotational shifts and week-offs. 2. Favoritism prevails at Amazon, especially in terms of growth. 3. They terminate atleast 7% employees annually which is mandatory as part of the annual performance evaluation cycle. It is completely data based and not situation based. Leadership doesn't remove the hurdles in meeting the goals and later, put all the blame on you. Hence, no job security. 4. Most of the time, you will be working on repeated tasks. Hence, no skill development and work satisfaction.

No promotion as per your tenurity, Performance standards are so difficult to achieving, Amazon day by day trying to layoffs the employees, Work load increasing for all the employees managers, even though operation manager..

Excellent work culture and employees engagement. Trying to standardize all process.

Dislikes

Only work is expected for 8 hrs. No space for learning and development of skills. Less salary. Promotion can be expected but not given in years

Bad in giving promotion There are only non tech roles in this company In the portal we can see many jobs as tech but when you go through the role 90% are non tech not even related to tech Worst jobs, similar to BPO Don't get fooled by thinking these jobs as tech

1. Work from home. 2. After you logout there is no need to think about work.

Dislikes

1. Low salary to tenured employees compared to new joiners 2. Unrealistic performance expectations. 3. Expects us to handle 1 email + 1 call or 1 email + 2 chats simultaneously and also perform like chat gpt 4. They will always find a way to blame the associate even if its the process, SOP, tool issue 5. Will always beg you to do OT just so that managers can show off their teams contribution which will help their promotion. 6. Always complaining on team meetings that team is not meeting the goal and we should work harder than we already are.
