Alcon Nigeria is an EPC contracting, the teammates are good in terms of skill sets,man power development zero, there is no job security it is hire and fayer,there is no career growth, salary are low but due to lack of job one has be with them, no appraisal,we move from site to site, high level of politics. ambitious ones learn through activities of the project.poor work environment,work life is terrible

In Alcon, team member has no say concerning workers welfare, terminates work force with out regard, no compensation,not training of worker as per skill development. job security is zero.generally it is not encouraging to be with such group for too long because their is little or no opportunity of growth.

Lack of VEGITARIAN FOOD, and I do not cooking myself. Change in management from ITALIAN to locals. Less qualified, incompetent locals are become bosses of expatriates. Inconsistency in policies regarding try to impose the taxation on agreed salaries, and voice on increasing the span of leave cycle. Of course, both have not happened to me

Small company. Friendly atmosphere. Fully responsible to work with good financial support from top management.

Dislikes

Earlier the company was managed by Italians. Later sold to Nigerian owner during 2015. All good company culture destroyed and expatriates holding senior position had to resign.

I enjoyed the people and the company i work with, it was a friendly and fun atmosphere and i actually enjoyed going to work each morning i felt that the leadership team was great too.

Dislikes

one of the reason, i m leaving is that i felt, i was not challenged enough at the job. as a new employee in the working word the company offered me a great opportunity for a good entry level position
