Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

...inagar Travelling time will be of 3 hrs (1 hour for going 2 hrs for returning) *Salary hike is very less 5-7% per year *Promotion as per their standards is every 2 years but they won't follow that. *You will not be able to learn any skills *Most of seniors are in retirement stage who are working from the establishment of plant, so the working style is old and unable to update.

There is freedom to work and the coordination between the departments for any related work is very good and job security also good.

Dislikes

... no provision and policy for accidental insurance etc. There is no bonus system. The salary structure is not good for the fresher candidates as per their qualification.
