a system engineer

Just had to share this, I got a 100% hike!

I'm keeping this anonymous because I don’t want to disclose it in real life. After two years without a raise, I successfully negotiated a 100% increase at my current company. I focused on creating significant value and worked in cross-functional teams to learn as much as possible. There were times when I was overworked, but it was all worthwhile. I was confident that it was a mutually beneficial situation. My advice would be to choose your job wisely, create value in the right place, and don't be afraid to negotiate.

Nothing. Mistake of my life trusting someone last time. Anyone reading this, they tell you all kind of benefits but they all are fake and many only applicable till second last month of your bond. You will see the reality in last month of your contract.

Dislikes

TL take all credit for your work and do not update even at your increment and you end up working on same salary or leaving company. Once your TL feel insecure, TL and Boss make every effort of making your life hell by creating issues, deducting salary even if you are sitting in your chair and waiting for the new task / chat / ticket to show up. They say if you are sitting on single page for 10min then you are not working and deduct 1 hour of salary or force your to work extra hours which only calculated if you complete 1 hour circle else your even 55mins are removed from time. If you are not satisfied with these 2 points then go and work and learn it the hard way.
