Teammates are very good.. career oppurtunities are satisfactory... everything is fine except the salary and appraisal benefits.. no bonus for finance team applicable. Infact they are not paid for working on weekends and no good scheme for comp off as well.

Dislikes

Poor employee appraisals and other benefits.. no payment for working on weekends and extra hours

Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
