Started my carrier in ADDISON as Clerk and retired as Divisional Manager (Export), Jointed with Educational qualification of B.Com, then added DME (studied through evening college) and added MFT (Master of Foreign Trade). In view of my above qualification, Management promoted till Divisional Manager.

Dislikes

ADDISON had given responsibility, but salary was not increased as expected (since was worked in the same company). Respect and high salary was given for newly joined people.

Very pathetic and stressful environment You have to face discourage and taunting even you are doing best, forget about any motivation and encouragement Almost 80% of workforce has left in past 1 yr. Dictatorship of GG is at top notch. They level of Addison has brought down to this level that they used to threaten employees by holding the expenses and money. Better to sell tea and samosa at street than to work in a poisonous environment of Addison.

Highly Unprofessional! Hire & Fire culture! we Sales managers should Sign a BOND for not joining competitors, But Addison Shamelessly recruit people from the competition! Company loves to file a legal case against ita own employees! Worst working environment, no safety & pollution control methods adopted in factory! Unprofessional & Insane Leadership by GG! More than 60% of Salesforce has left in this one year alone! even there is huge churn among HODs and even HRs wont stay beyond 6 months! Ita not a place for people with self respect and brain! Pls dont spoil your career by joining in Addison & Co Ltd chennai ! ( Cutting Tools)

Well known brand of tools and everyone deals in tools is know very well about this.

No Company support to the sales person. Technically not much support and not much trainings and seminars for the Field person.

There is no management right now, the company is working without any guidelines. The company has lost its market share in the last three years. The sales team including the marketing head is completely useless.
